Step Sisters Recovery Network is a nonprofessional community of women who carry the message of recovery as best they can. Our workshops are a labor of love not professional presentations. Each workshop reflects the view of its creator and to paraphrase the Preamble, its only purpose is to "share experience, strength and hope with each other, that they may solve their common problem and help others to recover." We hope the materials are useful to you. Pass it on!
The workshops are designed to help women who want to dive deeper into recovery. The reading materials are a compilation of information from the internet, program literature and new material written by the presenters. The writing prompts are for journaling sessions.
The SSRN workshops were first introduced online and included breakout groups, journaling and big group discussion. The material is suitable for in person presentation also.
Connection between women is at the heart of the workshops. We suggest breakout rooms so participants can share freely and comfortably in small groups. We did 3-4 women in each breakout.
